Graphic Design - Simple Tourist Map

This project made me realize the lack of knowledge I had about maps. How much time, energy and detail is involved in the actual process. It was a new learning experience and was fun. I learned using digital editing more effectively. I had many inspirations by Mike Hall, Neville Brody, Milton Glaser and Tom Wolley. I wanted my design to have elements of cartoon which has for me a more friendly invitation and attitude with the right seriousness. I think I would have added a more simplified route from the starting point to the finish line, in order to make it more obvious and if I had more time, I would have like to experiment more on typography of Neville Brody and Milton Glaser.
